About Materials Testing Services
Material testing confirms that concrete, soil, and aggregate meet project specifications at every stage of construction.
WolfPro provides this testing for land development, industrial, and infrastructure projects that rely on dependable QA and QC support.
WolfPro’s material testing supports compliance, specification review, and practical decision-making throughout your project.
01
Concrete Testing
Field testing: On-site verification of slump, air content, and temperature to confirm the concrete meets the mix design before placement.
Compressive Strength Testing: Casting, curing, and breaking concrete cylinders in our laboratory to verify that the specified strength (MPa) is achieved at specified day intervals.
Cold weather monitoring: Tracking internal concrete temperatures during sub-zero pours to support proper hydration and protect against freezing.
CCIL Certified Field & Lab Testing for Concrete: Our technicians and laboratory are certified by the Canadian Council of Independent Laboratories (CCIL) under Type Q, meeting national standards for concrete testing methods.
02
Soil & Aggregate Testing
Proctor Testing: Laboratory testing to establish the optimum moisture content and maximum dry density needed to achieve full compaction on site.
Sieve & Hydrometer Analysis: Gradation testing that measures the particle size distribution of aggregates to confirm they meet requirements for road base, drainage rock, or structural fill.
Field Density Testing: Using nuclear densometers to confirm that specified compaction is achieved during site grading and roadway construction.
CCIL Certified Field & Lab Testing for Aggregate: Our technicians and laboratory are certified by the Canadian Council of Independent Laboratories (CCIL) under Type C and Type D, meeting national standards for aggregate physical property testing.
Our Approach
WolfPro applies a QA/QC framework that helps project teams confirm materials are compliant with specification requirements. This includes both on-site and laboratory testing, scaled to the material, the project stage, and the type of verification needed.
For concrete work, this may include on-site checks before placement, strength testing at specified intervals, and temperature monitoring during cold weather pours.
For soil and aggregate work, testing supports compaction targets, gradation requirements, and density verification during grading and construction.
The goal is straightforward: give project teams clear, timely data they can use to keep work moving and address issues early.
